The construction began in 1902 when « la Roberstau »was only a small village. In 1905, the first pupils arrived in the building. At this time the school provided education for children between 3 and 15.
This building is imposing with its turrets, church windows; it looks like a castle.
On the ground floor there was a nursery school until 1985. On the first floor, there was a primary school until 1987. On the upper floors, there was the secondary school.
Today, our school welcomes 500 pupils and about 45 teachers. There are 4 levels: 6e, 5e, 4e and 3e (from 11 to 15). Our school is situated in a middle-class area, near the European Parliament.
Children from all the neighbourhood come in this school . The area is divided into two different geographic areas: the rich one and the tough one : « la cité de l'ill » (25%)
We have got lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays,Wednesday mornings (4e-3e), Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings from 8 to 12 and 2pm to 5pm.
We have got 2 breaks of 15 minutes ,one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
We can eat at the cantine or go back home for lunch .
We can join clubs from 1 to 2 pm (dance,art,choir,circus,drama club ,checks,step,and lots of other sports ).
