Attendance
Crown Hills has an excellent record for attendance and has very little truancy. Absence is followed up very quickly. All parents are required, by law, to inform the College of any absence their child might have. See later section for details of attendance in the past year.
Collective Worship
In order to meet the requirements of the Education Reform Act (1988), this school will provide a daily act of collective worship for every student. The nature of this collective worship in Crown Hills will be broadly based to take account of the students’ religious and family backgrounds and for which permission has been granted by the Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE).
School Meals
At Crown Hills we have the facilities to provide excellent school meals. We support the School Meals Service through City Catering.
Acceptable Clothing
From September 2008 all students must follow the Crown Hills new uniform policy. To view the uniform policy click here.
PE Kit
All children must take part in PE, Games and Swimming unless a note is received from parents excusing the child on reasonable medical grounds. PE is a compulsory part of the National Curriculum. An appropriate PE kit is required and further details of this are available from the PE Department.
