These days are provided by the college as a pre-cursor to application for the course – a real chance to see if this is the route for you. Our next taster day is on Tuesday, 5th February 2008. This is part of the TDA's Open Schools' Programme.  
The programme for the days vary slightly but include,

• An introduction to Mrs Glenda Berriman, Assistant Principal in charge of Training School
• A chance for you to observe within faculties and meet staff
• An opportunity to talk to staff who trained on the GTP and are now working at Crown Hills and this year’s GTP trainees
• A detailed outline of the course, its requirements and what you need to apply.
• Outlines of the similarities and differences between the GTP and PGCE programmes.
• Help and advice for overseas trained teachers.
• Advice on an individual basis.
