Transition from Year 6
It is a great honour to welcome you to our transition page and we are very pleased that you are considering CHCC as a choice of school for your child. It is a great honour to be able to support your child over the next 5 years of their life, a period that will last with them for a lifetime, and we hope that it will be an experience that sets to be ready for the wider world.
We welcome on-site visits to the college, whilst students are being taught, for three days in early October, and we also have an open evening for you and your family to come and visit us. Please do take the opportunity to visit as many schools in the local area as possible because, having been where you are, we know full well how important this decision is for you and your family.
We will also expect you to spend the first 1 hour with us when your child attends their induction day in June/July. Please make the time to meet with us on this day as we will share all the information that you need to support your child.

We are delighted to inform you, that your child has secured a place at Crown Hills for August 2024. We are very pleased and excited to be at the beginning of your child’s five-year journey with us.
